5 Things I Loved in May
An brief list of the things that made my life *exponentially better* in May
May has a well deserved reputation for being nonstop. Between school activities (field trips, teacher appreciation, concerts, field day, etc..), figuring out summer care, sports and vacations - it’s go, go, go! These are the things that saved my sanity in May.
I talked about these eye patches in my Stories but they deserve a permanent mention. I have been inundated with advertisements for the viral $50 eye patches but couldn’t get myself to pull the trigger. When I saw someone else talking about these $20 eye patches I jumped- and they have been as good as advertised. We took a trip overseas earlier this month and they hid all signs of the overnight flight, jet lag, and camper van nights. 10/10
Sticking with the beauty-themed care, this Hypochlorus Acid Toner is a game changer. I use it after the gym religiously to prevent any sweat build up, but it is also so, so good for long days in the sun or sitting in an airplane. It immediately kills off growing bacteria AND refreshes your skin, giving you a dewy glow.
This zip-up comes in 8 colors and is the perfect thickness for summer. I wear it constantly - its cool enough to keep on during a Pilates class, but warm enough to be your morning layer. I LOVE this jacket, and will probably be adding a few more colors to my closet.
This is on the spendier side but if you take a ton of pictures and have a hard time keeping them organized- this is going to change your life. It has a magnet on the back so it attaches to your phone instead of hanging down, its compact, and it makes it organizing your photos into folders a breeze. I also seem to always have a “storage problem” on my phone- so this takes care of that for me!
So simple, yet so game changing. I love these little hooks to use in the summer under tanks! And this pack comes with TWELVE, which is way more than you need but it’s nice to have a reserve stash.
